NVidia GeForce 6100
Mark: Very bad I'm currently running the build 505 (june 2006) on eCS. The graphic
system is an nVidia GeForce 6100 card with an Optiquest Q19wb
monitor. The monitor is correctly detected but I can't set the
resolution to a panoramic view 16:9 on the card - always giving me a
failed in the "gamode add" command . As a matter of fact, the card
isn't correctly recognized and thus is using the VESA VBE 3.0 driver.

Comments: Gene Alexander 2007-04-11 17:08:54 | I am glad that you at least got this working. I am attempting to get a new system working for a client that ordered a preloaded eCS 1.2R. The motherboard (Asus M2N-MX) has on-board nVidia GeForce 6100 (which I thought was supported by Scitech SNAP but appears not to be). The adapter does not appear to be recognized when I use SNAP. I get a black screen with a fast blinking cursor. I get a crash in PMDD if I try to use generic VGA 640x480 (no SNAP). Anyone know a workaround for this chipset?
The client does not need any acceleration as this system wll be used primarily with building control software. |
