Mark: Very good

With eComStation 2.0 RC1 the D40X works fine with USB SD card reader or direct USB connection to camera as long as SD card is 2GB or less. Using a 4GB SDHC card, formatted FAT32 only works so far with eCS if it is inserted at boot time.

On a related point, I have the Nikon D40 and I find the best way to transfer photos from it is to use Cameradie which supports the PTP transfer protocol.
