Positivo MOBO 1050
Mark: Average I bought a "Positivo MOBO 1050", which is the brazilian version of
MSI Wind and had already installed WinXP Pro, Ubuntu, eCS2.0RC6a and
MacOS X Leopard. All in all, it is a great netbook and I am very
happy with it. I made almost everything work on all OSs, but WiFi
is not working on eCS. I had not installed GenMac during eCS
installation process, and now I am wondering how can I add it.
Also, the secondary video output is not working at all on eCS
(it works ok on other OSs). It is a real concern to me, since
I planned to use this netbook as a tool when teaching about
Operating Systems.
The Status of Not Working Things (on eCS) are:
- External Video Output (I am using Panorama VESA)
- WiFi
- WebCam
- Synaptics Scroll (the touchpad works ok, but there is no scroll feature enabled)
- APM is not working very nice (when on bateries, it's not possible to change state to increase batery life)
- Card Reader doesn't seem to work.
