Samsung N110 netbook
Mark: Very bad
I am trying out an N110 netbook. Wondering whether ECS will go on it, the following points come to mind:
- 1.6GHz processor and 1Gb or 2Gb ram seem fine.
- Intel Atom processor - not sure if special support if required.
- Intel chipset - I don't know the issues here.
- Screen size - 1076 x 600.
- Disk access - I read somewhere that the access mode may not be supported by ECS, but I don't know the issues.
- Disk size 250Gb with two "small" system partitions and Windows 7 Starter on a third partition. Approx 160Gb free. Can ECS and Bootmanager install this far down a disk?
Further investigation suggests the answer is no, it won't run eComStation.
It seems to use AHCI for disk access with no option to change, although I haven't found anything to explicitly confirm that. Information is sent by: Peter -- 2010-01-09 15:57:53
