Every time your system starts, DMT checks and corrects errors in the system's INI files that might prevent the WPS from operating properly. If the errors can not be fixed, DMT offers to restore these files from backups. Once a day, DMT also cleans the INIs, removing entries that refer to files you have deleted.

Unlike other INI maintenance tools, DMT is run from config.sys and normally requires no user intervention and almost no configuration.

It is not intended to replace any of the full-featured INI utilities. However, you may not have to run them as often.
