And here comes another plugin for the OS/2 mp3 player PM123. It can normalize the sound output when PM23 plays mp3 files. This is very useful if you have mp3 files that vary highly in volume level. With this plugin installed, you won't have to fiddle around with the volume slider any more, the volume of the sound output should be at an equal level after normalize.dll recalculated the sample data.
* You need the following components to run the normalizer: OS/2 Warp 3/4
* The mp3-player PM123
* The normalizer package, which was programmed for Linux by Chris Vaill, but there's also an OS/2 port on Hobbes.
