This is the version of SOM that is included in OS/2 v 3, v 4 and eCommStation. SOMObjects toolkit has been released as version 3 but version 3 of SOM has never been certified for OS/2. This version (2.1) includes DSOM and workgroup DSOM.

Ideas for the developers:

DevCon: Every system utility should be multilanguage. Every application should be multilanguage. We recommend to use LANGE library.

 

eCo Software is working with the translators
of eComStation / IBM OS/2 Warp since the end of 90-th.
We have released russian version of
some Fixpaks for Warp 4, eComStation 1.05, .. 2.1.
