XSane is a powerful graphic front-ends for SANE (scanner ACCESS Now Easy), which requires a functioning libsane.dll (from SANE-1.0.16 or later) and an XServer (e.g. XFree86/OS2 or HOBX11).
This version supports:
* preview scan, preview zoom
* scan and save to pnm, jpeg, png, tiff, ps, pdf and raw file
* batch scan
* handling of all backend options
* helpfiles
* copy mode (printing via ghostscript, see section "copy mode")
* ocr output to a textfile using gocr.exe
* works as gimp2-plugin
